Introduction

Just a litte bit about myself to start with..

I have always been interested in cars, even from a young age. As a young lad i was taken by my father to watch all different sorts of racing. Out of all the events though, the one that interested the most was the Slverstone classic. The Jaguar XJR12, Porsche 962, Toyota Eagle MK3, Nissan 88, 89 etc etc are all for me some of the best looking race cars of all time. I chose the Mazda 787B as the basis for my car.

I didn't want to compromise the design process by using donor cars for all the parts so apart from the engine, gearbox etc i will be designing and manufacturing all other parts myself, putting my mechanical engineering degree to good use!

I have a workshop large enough to house the car throughout the build process, my milling machine, lathe and welders. I also have access to cnc milling machines and lathes at my work.
