Suspension design update

After much consideration, I've decided to use centrelock style wheels on my car. I will still be using the BBS rim inner and outers but am going to machine up my own centres. I'm going for a simplistic 5 spoke design, see http://www.fd3s.net/787B/ I've been playing around with the hub and upright design a bit too. I've managed to lose a bit of weight here and there and am making use of some narrow section shaft seals to allow maximum bearing width.








I am moving to a new job in the next few weeks so my access to cnc machinery will be more limited, although I am picking up a rotary table for my mill this weekend so I can carry out all my machining manually if necessary!

I've started on the rear suspension design as well. The complete rear end of the car will be a bolt-on piece. I will be using coilover shocks actuated by an arm on the top wishbone.
