Manufacture and bodywork update

After realising the real amount of work involved in designing and manufacturing an entire car from scratch I've been speaking to a local CNC machining comapany who will be helping me out with the work! I would like to at least produce one of each of the all the items that go into building the car myself but now the majority of the labour intensive machining will be carried out by them. I will be getting the front hubs, wheel centres etc machined over the next few weeks.

One thing that has also been taking up a lot of my time recently is the bodywork for the car. After examining countless pictures of the mazda, nissan, jaguar, mercedes, toyota etc of this era I had a thought. Like myself, my brother is also an engineer but a more artistic one than me and between us we think we can put together our own bodywork design that wouldn't look at all out of place in a reunion of these sort of cars. I have the basic proportions and features laid out in CAD and I'm pretty happy with the results so far..
